MicroData's specialization is the vision of its President and CEO, Glenn Mores. Mr. Mores has a rich background that has helped shape MicroData. Glenn's formal education included Gordon College in Wenham Massachusetts where he received a BA in Economics and then at the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he received an MBA (with honors) with dual concentrations in Finance and the Management of Information Systems.
Glenn served on the Faculty of Gordon College as Director of Media Communications. He also served for over 18 years as a Senior Lecturer in MIS at Boston's Northeastern University.
In 1998 Glenn co-founded and served as Vice President for MicroData Software, Inc. which MicroData spun off in 2000. MicroData Software continued development and marketing application software produced by MicroData. The software applications provided reporting and monitoring on e-mail in organizations. MicroData Software successfully developed and marketed its software to over 23 countries around the world and was acquired by IntelliReach Corporation of Dedham Massachusetts in 2002.
Glenn has started several other successful companies including 3rd Millennium Strategies and Savingshawk.com. Glenn continues to speak and write about small business technology issues and frequently presents to groups on the topics including designing effective IT systems for SMB, MicroCommerce, and technical marketing strategies.
Glenn has served on numerous advisory boards at area schools and not-for-profit organizations. Glenn is a licensed, IFR-rated pilot and volunteers as President for the Commander Owners Group, a not-for-profit dedicated to preserving the Rockwell Commander line of aircraft.
